For this purpose, the Cloward Mallet Ball and Pean Shaped Head features a 19mm to 37mm diameter head. Moreover, the head has two flat impacting surfaces. As a result, surgeons can hammer the impacting platforms of osteotomes and chisels to perform cuts or collect grafting tissue. In addition, the instrument features a bulky, hollow handle supplied with vertical grooves. This unique design provides surgical comfort and minimizes fatigue.
