Moreover, the flat blades prevent crushing damage to surrounding tissue. Meanwhile, the blunt tips of the operating scissor also prevent soft tissue damage. The supercut version of Strabismus Scissor – Metzenbaum Style also has serrated blades that securely grasp slippery tissues. Moreover, they also prevent tearing of surrounding tissue preventing damage. In addition, it includes ergonomic ring handles which improve control over dissection.
