For this purpose, the Lahey Dissecting and Ligature Forceps feature a pair of curved jaws that help to reach a variety of surgical sites. In addition, the jaws have longitudinal serrations along their surfaces. Therefore, it grasps hollow structures, such as the intestines securely.

We designed the toothed jaws to grasp the tough fibrous tissues and muscles securely. Therefore, the inner curves of the jaws prevent injuries to the surrounding structures.

Moreover, the Lahey Hemostatic Forceps features a box lock joint to perform smooth closing movements. Also, surgeons can self-retain the jaws at different pressure degrees using a ratchet system between the stems.
