ADMIRE SURGICAL’s Iris Forceps-Very Delicate offers a wide array of solutions in several surgical areas. Its principal use is to carry and remove materials, objects, and tissues from the operating site.
Iris Forceps have extremely delicate tips either in serrated form or with 1 x 2 teeth. These can be used for grasping purpose or for suturing and the stabilizing pin prevents the jaw crossover.
Iris forceps, also known as Adson forceps, are a type of surgical instrument used in various medical procedures, particularly in ophthalmology and plastic surgery. These forceps are designed to hold, manipulate, or handle delicate tissues, sutures, or other small objects.
Iris forceps have a slender and lightweight design, with a handle that is often finger-ring shaped for precise control. The handles may be smooth or have crosshatched patterns for a better grip.
To this end, the instrument features tapered jaws supplied with serrations that promote a firm but safe grip. In addition, the jaws are available in straight, slightly, and strongly curved patterns to suit all applications. The tapered design is ideal to pass through narrow spaces with ease.
Moreover, the Iris Forceps-Very Delicate has a spring handle provided with horizontal ridges that prevent slippage. Also, the handle includes a stop pin to control the closure distance of the jaws.
We manufacture all our Thumb Forceps in premium grade stainless steel to ensure the highest quality instruments in your operating rooms.
